We have quite a few new races now at Oversteer. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas on how to make the Oversteer experience better let us know.

run rookies in their own race [/quote As much as i agree with you there are benefits to having mixed heats as well, rookies can learn alot by racing with the more experienced drivers and tend to come on faster. I don`t like the carnage side of it. Sprint cars are the only class were we can split the feild the other classes dont have the same high numbers yet.

We would love to have a track championship but the issue is getting people to turn up for each round. With numbers dropping off its becoming increasingly harder to forecast numbers and gauge interest for any particular night let alone running a championship. The track has not paid for its self in many months, the cost each week to stay open is $280 which is being paid out of Jasons pocket. If numbers were higher we would look seriously into a calender and championship but until then its just not possible.

to get people to keep coming back you need a carrot, i dont mind paying a little more if it helps, or if its put towards a prize i hate to say it but h/way hobbies is hurting it and something needs to happen before we loss it, then where do we go?

The track has been suffering long before Highway Hobbies opened ,What hurts us is the fact that we are a very small market (oval). Jason and i have spent many hours trying to improve the track and come up with ideas to keep the numbers up but people have other commitments and interests that we have to compete with. If we have to close and im not saying that we are, then Highway hobbies may in fact be our salvation as far as a venue to race oval. Our customer base is made up of 2 groups . 1.Speedway fanatics 2.People who are already involved in R/c that found a place to fill the void but who are not speedway people. So the answer is not easy but Jason and myself are working on it.
